Why I write

I was asked this question recently by my editor on the Golden Egg Foundation Course, Emma Greenwood just this past weekend and my answer was because I want children to read my stories and enjoy them. That is the ultimate prize for me. I couldn’t be more delighted to be able to share here a book review of The Mad Moon Mission written by Malaika, aged 8.

I’m really glad that you liked it, Malaika! There are some fun facts about space and solar flares in the story and it makes me smile to think that children’s minds are being exercised, just a little bit, by the story helping them to think about such a captivating topic.
